The Hyatt Regency Charles de Gaulle decided to rethink the work spaces it has been offering to businesses up until now. For this, it called upon the expertise of the company Virserius Studio, which has offices in Paris and New York. The aim of the project was to innovate and bring a fresh twist to its Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events (MICE) offering.

A unique place fostering innovation

The Campus is primarily designed for businesses and particularly entrepreneurs. The idea is that it should strengthen cooperation, team cohesion and the exchange of ideas. In other words, it should be a booster encouraging teams to innovate! The Campus seeks to offer a new take on meetings that is more in tune with the young generation of business people while still meeting the needs of those with a more conventional vision and practices in this domain. The know-how brought by Virserius Studio helped to design an experience that is unique for every user and tailored according to their profile. Hyatt’s vision for the campus was for it to be a unique, fresh and energising place.

Now you can go back to university whilst working

The design was inspired by American college campuses. As you wander around this space of over 800 square metres, you’ll come across areas where you can sit and send emails, read, chat and even play table football. Everything is designed to give users the impression of going back in time to their university days.

Other features range from blackboard walls and wooden tables in the Picnic Area to wireless flat screen monitors. The space has several parts to it: the Library (a communal area leading to the meeting rooms), the Picnic Area which is accessible to all, the Game Court and the LABOs, which are the meeting rooms themselves.
